The Kings of Summer

Wednesday May 22, 7pm

If you live in Portland, OR, and would like to see a pre-screening of The Kings of Summer, you can claim a free pass by using the info below!

GO HERE and print out a free pass. Use this code: IMPROV6NCX

The trailer makes it look great. Of course Nick Offerman and Alison Brie are awesome, but I’m also excited to see Craig Cackowski is in this. I got to perform with him once at the Curious Comedy Theater and he is really hilarious. That’s right, I drop names like Skrillex drops the bass.

Anyway, if you’re in Portland and end up going to this, I might see you there!

portland tumblr meetup!

f—-yeahportland:

reblog, discuss. like this post if you might be interested. some folks are interested in meeting up and we’re trying to figure out what sort of space might be best for the group.

I’d love to be apart of this. And if we can get enough interest, then I can see if the Curious Comedy Theater would be willing to host this event. But before I try pitching it to the theater director I want to make sure there’d be a good turn out and that we can somehow benefit the theater as well.

The Curious Comedy Theater is a non-profit comedy theater located at 5225 NE MLK Blvd, Portland, OR. The theater is an all-ages venue, but also has a full bar with a great food menu.

Here’s a page from Curious’ website that shows some good images of the inside of the theater. - http://www.curiouscomedy.org/rentals/rental-gallery/

Please like and reblog this post if you are in the Portland area and are interested in having a Tumblr Meetup.

If any of you are from Portland give this a “like” or a reblog so we can get a feel for how many people would be interested in this.

I submitted this slide to Mike Vogel, a filmmaker from Portland. He is looking to promote local creative talent before the screening of his film The Waiting List on February 18th at the Hollywood Theatre. For more info check him out.
The slide was created by Joe Aimonetti from 503Creative. He’s an amazing photographer and graphic designer.
