He’s got Mad Dad’s Disease!

It’s like Mad Cow Disease, except only Dads get it and it doesn’t keep us from eating yummy beef products.

What are some of the symptoms of Mad Dad’s Disease? One sure sign that you’ve caught MDD is that you’d give away a well established blog for absolutely FREE! Don’t worry. I’m not talking about me. I’m talking about the Dad over at GladDads.com.

Glad Dads is a great website which gives new dads a ton of support and resources. It also gives Dads like me who like to pretend like they know what they are talking about, a place to spread their wings and blog. In fact you may remember I wrote a post for Glad Dads a while back. It was about “Getting Things Done.” Maybe I should go back and read that so I can follow my own advice.

Glad Dads is a beautiful and fully functioning site with a large reader base and huge network of guest bloggers. Compared to Glad Dads, Improvising Fatherhood is like a kid’s lemonade stand. The Gladfather himself asked me if I was interested in taking it over, but I love my little lemonade stand.

Apparently the owner of Glad Dads is giving it away because he needs more time to be with his family. What’s that all about? Who needs a family when you’ve got a blog about a family. Right?

So if you’re interested in being the owner of a very popular blog but don’t want to go through the trouble of starting one, deciding what it should look like, and sweating it out for 6 months to a year as you feverishly build a reader base, then head on over to GladDads.com and let him know why you deserve to be the proud new owner of a well established and successful blog.
