Bedtime

So…I was thinking of coming up with some original content today but then I got lazy. So instead I’ll answer a question. Welcome to Father Knows Best? Today’s question comes from Kat. She asks:

When’s his bedtime? What do you and your wife do after he goes to sleep? We are big fans of video games in this household!
-Kat
p.s. hows that for a (semi)parenting related question?

First of all, that’s great for a (semi)parenting related question. But do you really think what my wife and I do after Chandler goes to bed is any of your business? Don’t you think that’s a little personal?

LOL I’m just kidding. We’re married with a child. There’s absolutely no hanky panky going on in this house. Partially because I refer to it as “hanky panky.”

Chandler’s bedtime is  somewhere in the 6:30 to 7:30 range. Usually we will give him a bath around 7pm. Then after his bath Ashley feeds him (aka sedates him) until he conks out.

And then…as soon as he goes to sleep…my wife and I head out to the streets to fight crime. I use nunchucks. And my wife makes me wear a helmet because I keep knocking myself out.

Actually after Chandler goes to bed we both sit on the couch with our computers on our laps working away on our respective projects (Me: writing inane blog posts - Her: tracking down my ridiculous spending habits via online banking) while we watch TV.

I’m also a fan of video games, and when I find some time I’ll play games on my iPhone ( and now my iPad). My favorite is Ngmoco’s Eliminate.
