Studio Christy captured my child’s hood

To celebrate Chandler’s success in surviving my parenting for 6 months Ashley and I decided to get photographic evidence of his existence in case he doesn’t make it to month 7. My wife, clever as always, used Groupon to find Studio Christy. We are so happy with the results we almost wish we had paid full price (no take backs Christy!).

We met with Christy for two photo shoots and then one photo review session. We were really only slated for one photo shoot, but during the first session Chandler was not really “feelin’ it.” We were using Mt. Tabor Park as our location which was beautiful but it was a little cold out and Chandler was just out of his element. Christy was very nice about letting us reconvene a few days later.

We did the second photo shoot at our house and Chandler was in a much more agreeable mood. Christy got some really amazing shots. Then several weeks later we went to her studio to see the photos she had taken and choose which ones we wanted for the package we had selected. 

Her studio is totally rad. She has a pretty sweet setup with a Macbook Pro connected to a projector and the space on her wall where the images were projected was neatly framed with a classy set of drapes. Plus she had cookies and water (I supplied my own Dew) waiting for us when we got there. 

The Groupon promo we used got us three photos. We selected them and will have them back in a few weeks. In the meantime you can see them on her website’s blog HERE. We chose the 2nd, 4th, and 5th photos in that set of photos. It should also be noted that Christy states in her blog that Chandler is one of the fastest 6 month old babies she’s ever seen. 

All in all this was a great experience and if you are in the Portland area I definitely recommend you use Studio Christy for your child photography needs.
