Improvising Fatherhood Photoshop contest

Recently we have been trying to expand Chandler’s horizons by introducing solid foods into his world. It has not gone so well. Apparently, just like me, my boy is an originalist. He likes breast milk and sees no need to try anything else. But we don’t give up easy. So every day we give him a little bit of food and he gives us a lot of attitude.

These events have been amazing photo opportunities since our normally very happy little boy tends to FREAK out as soon as a spoon of goop comes anywhere near his lips. The other day, we got what I can only describe as THE FUNNIEST CHANDLER PHOTO OF ALL TIME! Here it is.

This photo makes me laugh every time I see it. It almost looks like something out of Calvin and Hobbes when his food comes to life and attacks him.

This photo is pretty hilarious on its own. But I just had to do a little “photoshopping” to see if I could take it up a notch.

Ah…now that’s comedy. I realized after I made this photo that I might be alienating half my audience who are Windows users. I checked my stats and indeed a little over half my readers are visiting the site from a Windows computer. So if you take offense to this, now’s your chance to exact your revenge!

The funniest photo will be awarded a sweet prize. What’s the sweet prize? I wish I could say it was cold hard cash or some kind of cool gift. Unfortunately at this point all of the cash I have laying around is warm and mushy and all the cool gifts I would offer are covered in C-Rex drool. But what I will give you is some sweet promotion. Got a website you want me to promote? Got a product you want to sell? Have a video you hope will go viral?

Well whatever you got, as long as it is not evil in some way, I will promote it for a week straight. I will put up an ad towards the top of the sidebar, which will stay there for free until someone pays me to put their’s there instead. I will also write a full post about whatever the heck it is you’d like me to promote. On top of that you’ll be mentioned in each of my posts for that week.

So what’s the value of that? Depending on who you are it could either be a lot or a little. Last week my site received over 3,000 pageviews, which is double from the previous week. On average between 100 and 200 people visit my site each day. So having a week’s worth of promotion on Improvising Fatherhood might be a big boost for you. Even if it isn’t you should still submit a photo because it’s fun! Not everything in life has to be profitable.
