My son is a hot item.

Yay! It’s time for another thrilling episode of Father Knows Best? Today’s question comes from Megan, mother of super cute baby Eleanor, and author of Mommyhood. Recently she wrote a pretty interesting post about dealing with her evolving self image as she transitions from a life in the art studio to a life of baby finger paintings. I found I could relate to it quite a bit as a comedian who used to spend every weekend night at the theater entertaining live audiences and now is having to find an audience through a new venue.

I thank all of my followers (over 200 now) for reading along, and I suggest you check out Mommyhood as well. Now, here’s the question.

Does Chandler want to be baby Eleanor’s future boyfriend? I think he’s going to be quite the looker someday.

Great question Megan. You are correct in saying that Chandler is going to be quite the looker someday. And that is for two reasons. Reason number 1: He’s going to look at a lot of stuff. In fact, every time his eyes are open, he’s going to be looking. Reason number 2: He’s a stud muffin. And if I might say, Eleanor is quite the cutie as well. I especially like this picture where it looks as if someone just told an amazing “yo momma” joke and she’s like, “Oh SNAP!”

(This photo was taken by Stephanie Bassos. Check her out.)

Megan, I can only assume that such a heart throb as my son will have many girlfriends during his time. Don’t worry ladies, he will always be a gentlemen and none of his relationships will ever have overlapping timelines. But I predict C-Rex will be as they say, a “Playa’.” (Author’s Note: Putting a word with an apostrophe at the end of it, at the end of a sentence that also is ending in quotation marks, is quite the grammatical conundrum. How’s my Grammar? 1-800-I-SPEAKA-DA-ENGLISH)

Based on the sheer volume of lovely ladies Chandler will probably date, the chances of Chandler being Eleanor’s future boyfriend are quite good. But I’d like to take this opportunity to allow all the single babies out there to submit their formal request for a chance to be courted by Chandler. So ladies, this is it. In the comments section post a link to a picture of yourself and tell me why you should be Chandler’s girlfriend. Eleanor has set the bar pretty high. But what do you bring to the table? Good looks? Great personality? A charming laugh? If you were an animal, which animal would you be?

Tell Chandler a little bit about yourself and post a picture for us to oggle. (For you Tumblr users you can utilize the “photo reply” option.) Who knows, if you win his heart we might have to set up a play date.
