It’s been a while but welcome to another exciting installment of Father Knows Best? Today’s question was submitted anonymously. Here goes:
Are you and your wife having Chandler get all of his vaccines?
This is a good question. Like any good parents, Ashley and I take Chandler’s well being seriously. So we have decided to give our son a full range of comprehensive vaccines to be sure he lives a long healthy life. Here is a complete list of the shots we plan on giving Chandler.
Cooties Shot: Pretty standard really. It used to be that kids didn’t need their cooties shot until they were in 1st grade, or maybe Kindergarten. But it seems like these days kids are advancing earlier and earlier all the time.
Got Your Nose Shot: There’s nothing worse than having your nose taken by an annoying adult who thinks it’s funny to steal random parts of your face. We want to make sure our son is impervious to these attacks.
Cynicism Shot: Conan O’Brien said it best right before he lost the Tonight Show, when he told kids to not be cynical. “Be kind and work hard.”
Dew Shot: This won’t be a shot taken with a needle. But every day Chandler and I will do shots of Mt. Dew.
Buzzer Beater Shot: This vaccine will give Chandler the ability to remain cool under pressure and hit game winning shots anytime he wants.
