Boom! I am a brother. Mommy says it’s ironic that I became a big brother on the same night as the first episode of Big Brother. She sounded a little mad about that.
This lil guy is named Parker. Daddy is trying to act like he hadn’t even considered the fact that Spider-Man’s name is Peter Parker. Yeah right, Dad. You’re not fooling anyone. You’ll probably do everything you can to make sure his first word is “Thwip!”
Anyway, look at me holding that kid…LIKE A BOSS! I’m going to be the best big brother ever. This blog, Improvising Brotherhood, will be my way of documenting all of my brotherly awesomeness.
It should be noted that Parker is not a “lil guy.” The dude came out 9 pounds and 13.5 ounces. My wife is a champion.
Seeing Chandler’s face when he first met Parker was incredible. He was so excited and couldn’t wait to hold him. It’s going to be a lot of fun watching Chandler and Parker grow up together.
I should mention that as much as I love my new boy, we did get off on the wrong foot. He was born 15 minutes before Friday the 13th. I was really hoping for a freaky friday baby. I kept saying to my wife, “Just hold it for a while!” That did not go over well.
Other than that, Parker and I are on good terms. Everyone is happy. Everyone is sleepy.
