Chandler’s Rant

Chandler is a pretty peaceful little dude. He likes sleeping and eating, and occasionally he’ll just look around the room with this face that seems to be saying, “So what’s this place supposed to be?” But occasionally Chandler will go on a crying tirade and really let us know what he is thinking. Or at least, he’ll try to let us know what he’s thinking. Unfortunately neither of us are fluent in baby talk. But I still like to think I have an idea of what he’s saying. Here’s an imagined transcript from his most recent rant.

“THIS SUCKS! What’s going on!? Can’t you people get your act together!? I’m cold! There’s something coming out of my butt! I don’t even know what that is! I’m hungry. I’m tired of milk. Hey mom how about some chocolate milk for once? Or what’s that stuff in that green can dad is always holding? That seems to make him pretty happy. I bet I will love it. HEY! HEY! HEY! THERE’S STILL STUFF IN MY PANTS! IS SOMEONE GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THAT OR WHAT? Oh, wait a minute, I’m adding more to it. You were right to wait on that. I’ll give you that one. Wait! Why are you putting me down? I want to be held! NO! Don’t hold me like that? Hold me the other way. NO! The OTHER other way! HEY! What’s that over there? Take me over there! I want to see that big shiny thing over there! LISTEN TO ME! Take me over there or I will pee on you as soon as you take my diaper off!”

Yeah…something like that.
