We’ll Let You Know
It’s been two days since our baby was supposed to be born. It’s a shame that my child hasn’t entered the world yet and I’m already disappointed in it. That’s a bad start baby.
But this wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for all the questions we keep getting from friends and co-workers. This morning I got an IM from one of my closest friends. “Do you have a baby yet?” What? Don’t you think I would have called you if our baby had been born? Yeah, we had our baby and I was just waiting for you to show up online so I could tell you.
I went to work the day after the baby was due and my co-workers all bombarded me with “Do you have a baby yet?” Would I be here if the baby was born? Yes, the baby was born, but we weren’t really happy with it so we threw it out and are starting all over.
Or here’s a great question. “Are you anxious?” Yes. I’m anxious to punch you in the face.
So let this be a message to all you inquisitive minds out there. We’ll let you know when the baby is here. We’ll probably be making a pretty big deal about it. But thanks for asking.
