Every week I get on stage and perform improv comedy in front of large audiences. That doesn’t scare me at all. I’m about to be a father. No big deal…I can handle anything….right? Yeah?  Somebody back me up here…

This blog, Improvising Fatherhood, will be a look at fatherhood through the eyes of an improv comedian. How will my skills as an improviser help me as a father? In improv you are taught to always say “YES.” All I ever hear parents say is “NO!”

This is going to be a really interesting journey for my wife, baby, and I. This blog will sort of be a scrapbook of the entire trip.
